DangerPoint is an interactive centre providing hands on safety education specifically for children and young people in North Wales.
Opened in October 2005, DangerPoint is a registered charity developed by numerous organisations including North Wales Police, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and BHP Billiton Petroleum Ltd.
With highly trained Rangers, DangerPoint has been designed to inspire, inform and engage the groups. It is an excellent way to educate the community in essential life skills.

DangerPoint secures Electrical Safety Council funding
The Electrical Safety Council has made available funding to support electrical fire prevention schemes through partnerships at local level and DangerPoint have been successful with their bid.
DangerPoint has identified, through national statistics, the need to educate children, young people and their families about home safety and as part of this, electrical safety.
The funding will be used to deliver electrical fire safety messages within our safety education centre. In addition to the key safety messages that are incorporated into the DangerPoint tour, we will be holding two themed electrical safety weeks where additional information will be provided to our visitors on electrical safety and each visitor will leave the Centre with an information sheet which they can share back at home. We will also work in partnership with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service to promote home fire safety checks.
These themed weeks will be held during 18th – 22nd October and 6-10th December 2010. If you would like to book your school in for a visit during either of these weeks, please contact the Centre to discuss.
